Tough Love: You have to be twice as good as them to get half of what they have!

Father: You've gotten yourself into a bit of trouble, daughter, and I'm here to fix it.
Daughter: No.
Father:  [speaking very rapidly] Now listen to me. You raised your skirt and opened your knees and gave it away to a man with too much power. You're not rare. You're not special. Your story's no different than a thousand other stories in this town, so you know how this goes. You could call this in your sleep. First they'll smile, be warm, sympathetic, on your side, letting you know that they will fight for you. They will lull you into a false sense of security. And then, once your belly is exposed, They will GUT you and everyone you know. And they will be swift about it. And by the time you realize you should be fighting back, well, you're already bleeding to death. That is the presidency versus you. Whose victory do you think they will fight for? Whose body do you think they will bury? That is the presidency versus you.
Daughter: He would never
[she's cut off]
Father:  [Mocking] "He would never" You and I both know that he is not in charge. He is never in charge. POWER is in charge. Power got him elected. I know more than you could possibly imagine about things of which you cannot dream. He told you that you would be first lady, and you believed him! Did I not raise you for better? How many times have I told you 'You have to be' - what? You have to be - what?
Daughter: Twice...
Father:  [shouting] What?
Daughter: Twice as good.
Father: Twice as good as them to get half of what they have. Sleeping with that! For God sakes! You know to aim higher. At the very least, you could have aimed for chief of staff, secretary of state! First lady! Do you have to be so mediocre?
Father: [scolding his daughter] Sleeping with that for God's sake! You know to aim higher. At the very least, you could have aimed for Chief of Staff, Secretary of State! First lady! Do you have to be so mediocre?
Father: Money is not a problem. There's always money. Money bought that plane. Money bought the silence of the gentleman who will fly that plane. It contains a passport, a Swiss bank book, a go-file, an entirely new identity. There is a very nice island waiting for you at the end of the flight. You will stay there for eight months. Then I can arrange a place for you in Brussels. Thailand, if you prefer, Johannesburg... anyplace but here, really, as long as you disappear.
Daughter: And what if I don't want to go?
Father: Daughter, you're getting on that plane come hell or high water. And to be clear, I am the hell and the high water.

Face Challenges Head On!

Sometimes life can push you into situations that you don't think you can overcome. It can challenge you in ways that were previously unimaginable. But this is your training ground and that is what will make you great.
The key idea is that when faced with these challenges, you can't run and hide. You can't back away. You can't shrivel back into your comfort zone, for it is only by facing the challenge that you can obtain the benefits of the struggle as a reward for enduring the pain.

Hang in there, you can do it. Keep pushing your boundaries and never sit still. This is one of the keys to success.

Doing the Right Thing

I believe in doing the right thing.

So often, easy and quick solutions present themselves to us in our dearest moment of need.

Nothing justifies a compromise; not unmet financial obligations, debt, threat, or even family.

One of the hardest things to do in life is to do the right thing. What you think is the right thing; not what you friends, family, teachers, boss and society thinks is the right thing.
Often, we have a little voice in your head that tells what the right thing is. Or a gut feeling.
Now, why should you do the right thing? Here are three excellent reasons:
1. You tend to get what you give.
By doing the right thing you tend to get the same things back. Give value to people, help them and they will often want to help you and give you value in some form. Not everyone will do it but many will. Not always right away but somewhere down the line. Things tend to even out. Do the right thing, put in the extra effort and you tend to get good stuff back. Don’t do it and you tend to get less good stuff back from the world.
2. To raise your self-esteem.
This is a really important point. When you don’t do the right thing you are not only sending out signals out into your world. You are also sending signals to yourself. When you don’t do the right thing you don’t feel good about yourself. You may experience emptiness or get stuck in negative thought loops. It’s like you are letting yourself down. You are telling yourself that you can’t handle doing the right thing. To not do the right thing is a bit like punching yourself in the stomach.
3. To avoid self-sabotage.
A powerful side effect of not doing the right thing is that you give yourself a lack of deservedness. This can really screw up you and your success. If you don’t do the right thing in your life then you won’t feel like you deserve the success that you may be on your way towards or experiencing right now. So you start to self-sabotage, perhaps deliberately or through unconscious thoughts.
If you on some level don’t think that you are a person who deserves the success you want then you will probably find a way to sabotage that success. You may rationalize it as being about something else or what someone else did. But oftentimes it’s just you standing in your own way. By doing the right thing your can raise your self-esteem and feel like a person who deserves his/her success.
How to do it
Here are a few suggestions that can hopefully help you to do the right thing more often.
Review the reasons why you are doing it.
Whenever you feel unsure about doing the right thing remind yourself of the powerful reasons above (or any other that you can come up with). They might give you that extra push of motivation you need to spring into action.
Go for improvement. Not perfection.
I’m not saying you will do the right thing all the time. I certainly don’t. But I’m saying that we can strive for gradual improvement. If you for instance do the right thing 10 percent of the time right now then try to doing it 20 percent of the time. And then 30 percent. Or you can try to do the right thing at as many opportunities as you find this week. Try some stuff and see works best for you.
My point is just to not get stuck in thinking about perfection or being some kind of saint. This can paralyse you from taking any action at all. Or leave you with negative feelings despite doing the right thing many, many times (since you are still not feeling like you are not quite perfect).
If you seldom do what you feel/think is the right thing now then you will probably not be able to change this completely over the weekend. It might take some time.
Just do it.
The more you think about these things, the more often you tend to come up with reasons to not do it. You need to think but not over think since that often traps you in analysis paralysis. To raise your self-esteem and get a spiral of positive action spinning in your world and with the people around you need to start moving and take action.
Taking the route of doing the right thing takes more effort and can be more painful. It’s often seemingly the harder thing to do.
But when you understand how you are hurting yourself it gets a lot harder to just avoid doing the right thing. The perceived advantages of not doing the right thing – such as it being easier – tend to lose their power and are replaced with a more clearer understanding of what you are doing to yourself and others.
Taking this – perhaps a little less traveled – path is a lot more rewarding than taking the easy way out. Both for you and for the world around you.

Don't Hold Back Yourself - Part II

To live life to the fullest, you'll need to ignore what other people think and be what you want to be. Wear what you want to wear. Say what you want to say (but please, don't offend anyone). Do what you want to do.

Only it's not that easy, because whether we should or not, we do care what people think of us, we do care what people say about us. We even care what strangers might think of us. But what kind of life is this? A kind where we are all hidden behind a mask and we all want to get out but can't.

It's a kind that should be demolished and replaced with a fair world full of joy, unprejudiceness, and health. But it's never that easy...

Here's some advice that I love: People are always going to talk - you may as well give them something FIERCE to talk about!

Don't hold back yourself! Do your thing!

Why Do We Get Discouraged?

Nehemiah teaches us that there are usually four reasons for discouragement --

First, we get fatigued -- We're human beings and it is only natural that we get tired. You cannot burn the candle at both ends. So if you're discouraged, it may be you just need a vacation!

Second, we get frustrated -- Nehemiah says there was so much rubble all around that it was getting in the way of rebuilding the wall.

Think of the rubble as the trivial things that waste your time and energy, those things that prevent you from accomplishing what God has called you to do. If you are discouraged, you may need to clear away some of the rubble in your life.

Third, we think we've failed -- Nehemiah's people were unable to finish their task as quickly as originally planned and so their confidence collapsed.

Do you give in to self-pity? Do you start blaming other people? Do you start complaining that the task is impossible? Instead, refocus on God's intentions and start moving again?

Fourth, we give in to fear -- Fear will destroy your life if you let it. But you can choose to resist the discouragement that comes from fear.

Pray, "God help me get my eyes off the problem - off the circumstances - and keep my eyes on you."

- Rick Warren.

Women, The World is Waiting For You!

As women you have so many unique gifts that uplift and inspire.

The world needs you now more than ever.

And the dreams you have are planted deep within your heart by Life itself for a reason.
Your responsibility is not to make them happen but simply to say “Yes”.
Along the journey to your dreams fulfillment you will face challenges that test you.
In these moments things can sometimes seem tough. It can be easy to lose hope. You might sometimes wonder if your dreams will ever happen. You may even consider abandoning your dreams altogether, feeling as though you have given everything and have yet to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
These are the moments that it is easy to give up.
These are the moments most people give in.
But these are the very moments to LIVE everything you know deep in your heart.
As women one of your gifts is your profound intuition. You sense, see and feel things beyond the physical. People may call you crazy, unreasonable, unrealistic. But know that nothing revolutionary was created by dreaming small and buying into limitations.
You have that magical ability to breathe love into something and give it life.
There will be no shortage of people who will tell you what can or cannot be done. Most of the people that discourage your dreams have never done what you feel called to do. If you listen to the naysayers, you will live an existence of mediocrity. But if you follow your Soul’s calling you will fly on the wings of synchronicity.
It takes true courage to follow your dreams in this world that tries to shake you down to live in fear and survival.
If you are facing one of those challenging moments in life, but feel your dream to be truly authentic to your heart. Then you must commit, continue and trust bigger than your fears.
Your dreams were given to you for a reason.
Often you are given a dream and and it burns so deeply in your heart because that dream is not just about you. It is a bigger vision of the Universe being birthed through you to impact and inspire many.
Before every breakthrough there is often a breakdown. Before the dawn there is the darkness. But if you persist, the sun will rise again no matter how dark it may seem. Spring will follow winter. Behind the clouds the sun is always shining. Even if you cannot see it right now.
Even if you can’t see how your dream will happen, there is an Intelligence of Life that knows.
Let the Light of your Soul guide you. It knows. It is always ON. Let your Soul lead you to your goal.
Trust it.
In those quiet moments of challenge, you might think that it would be so much easier if you didn’t have a burning dream at all, then you could just go on with your life.
But know that:
-The journey that your dream takes you on is part of the reward itself. And who you become in the process is the evolutionary gift.
- Giving up on your dream might seem like an easier way. But in reality if your dream has meaning to you, the pain in denying it is a excruciating. In denying your authentic dream, a part of you will die.
When you keep the faith, your faith will keep you moving. Then the wings of Grace will carry you forward. Support from unseen and unexpected sources will rise to meet you.
So:
1- Acknowledge and commit to your dream. FULLY
2- Spend time everyday taking action towards your dream. CONSISTENTLY.
3- Surround yourself with positive people that believe in your dreams. TOTALLY.
4- Find small ways to live your dreams daily. CREATIVELY.
5- Surrender the fulfillment of your dreams to the creativity and perfect timing of the universe. TRUSTINGLY.
Commit.
Continue.
Create.
The universe is already CONSPIRING the fulfillment of your dreams.
The world is waiting for you.
Now.
Love.Now

Thanks, Kute.

WORKING...WORKING HARD...WORKING REAL HARD!!!

Do you think that success requires hard work? Maybe you are not going to like this, but for me, I definitely think that success does require you to work hard.

Sometimes it is true that you can work smart instead of working hard to get what you want. If you can work smart and spend only 1 hour to get what you want, guess what kind of results you are going to get if you can spend 2 hours into doing it? Highly likely, you are going to get more out of it.
It is great when you think about spending little effort to produce outstanding results, but if this is true, then most of us here would be rich and successful. The reason most people are not achieving what they want in their lives is because they are not working hard enough.
By working hard, I mean that spending quality time that will produce you the results that you are looking for. Some people work 10 hours a day, however, they are not very productive simply because they spend most of their time doing something that is not going to take them where they want to go.
Life Is Short, So Work Harder

Yes, life is short, so you have to work harder. Everyone has 24 hours a day no matter who you are. Therefore, stop wasting time and start to pursue for what you really want. Close your eyes now and think about what you have accomplished so far this year.
Do you want to be the same by the end of 2012? Do you want to achieve your goals, live a prosper life, be more successful, be richer by the end of 2012? If you do, you have to work hard from now on.
If you look at all the successful people out there, they all are very hard working. They work on their goals and put in effort to build their dreams a lot more than ordinary people. Look at Donald Trump when he is at his peak. He works on his deals and put in so many hours into his business. Sometimes he will think about his deals even late in the night and can’t wait to go to the office to get his work done.
The same goes for Ray Kroc, the guy who built McDonald’s into a billion-dollar business. If you read his autobiography, you will also understand that he works like crazy to build his business. The time when he is setting up his first McDonald’s, he is still holding a full time job. Thus, he has to wake up a lot earlier than normal people to go to his restaurant, and he has to come to work on it again after office hour. This is how and why extraordinary people are able to produce amazing results in their lives.
Decide To Work Harder From Now On

I know some of you may have the thought saying that you do not have the time or I may not understand your schedule. Let me tell you this, no matter how busy you are right now, you can always find time to take action and work on your dreams.
You can tell me that you are working during weekdays and you may want to accompany your family at night. Let me share with you another real story of a successful guy named Ewen Chia. He is a very successful internet marketer and now he is enjoying all the passive incomes from the internet.
When he first started his internet business, he is holding a full-time job. And guess what, he also need to spend time being with his family after work. So how did he find the time to build his internet business? Ewen spend his time to build his online empire from 11pm to 3am everyday. Don’t be surprised because this is the kind of desire and commitment that most successful people have when they focus on their dreams.
Yes, you need to sacrifice your time to pursue your dreams. If you are not reading this article right now, most likely you are surfing internet for other stuff of maybe you are playing games, or chatting or playing Facebook. You see, you are spending your time every second, it is just a matter of whether you are spending your time into something un-resourceful or you are investing time into building your dreams.
So use your time wisely and decide to work harder from now on. You do not have to wait until something happen only to start, you can always choose to start right now.
There are tons and tons of success stories out there and there are many great examples. All of the great people spend most of their time working on their dreams. They work hard to achieve their goals and make their dreams a reality. So this is also what you need to do.
Work Smart VS Work Hard

Why do you want to choose between work hard and work smart? Just do both! Work hard and in the same time, work smart!
This is exactly what you need to do to prosper in your business. Spend time working on your dreams. And then try to spend a little extra to find out how you can work lesser to produce the same amount of time. After that, just continue to be creative and work harder to create the results that you want with lesser time.
A lot of people are trying to make money from the stock market, forex or through the power of internet. Yes, it is true that you can make money from these medium, but you will also need to work on the strategies and take the right action to earn the money from there. Take internet marketing for example, you need to first learn the strategies of how to do it, and then take action to create the income that you want. The same if you are trying to invest in the stock market. You will need to study the market and do the necessary analysis.
There is no one-click and you will become the next millionaire kind of thing. If this kind of software or program does exist, why do the people who created it need to sell it to you in the first place? If they would like to help you to become the next millionaire, ask them to give the program or tool to you free of charge instead since they are helping people.
So What Should You Do Right Now?
The answer is pretty simple. I believe that when you read until this point, you will already know what you need to do. You just need to make the decision right now to do it and take action right away.
Start taking action and make your dreams come true now. Put in more time and effort into your goals and do it right now!

How Bad Do You Want It?

There was a young man, you know, who wanted to make a lot of money and so he went to this guru, right. And he told the guru you know I wanna be on the same level you are and the guru said if you wanna be on the same level I’m on, I’ll met you tomorrow at the beach.

So the young man got there 4 A.M. he already to rock n’ roll. Got on a suit should of wore shorts. The old man grabs his hand and said: How bad do you wanna be successful? He said: “Real bad”. He said: Walk on out in the water. So he walks out into the water. When he walks out to the water he goes waist deep and goes like this guy is crazy.

I don’t know how many of you all got asthma here today? If you ever had a asthma attack before your short of breath S.O.B shortness of breath, you wheezing  the only thing you trying to do is get some air. You don’t care about no basketball game, you don’t care about what’s on T.V., you don’t care about nobody calling you, you don’t care about a party. The only thing you care about when you trying to breathe is to get some fresh air. That’s it! And when you get to the point where all you wanna do is be is successful as bad as you wanna breathe then you will be successful.
And I’m here to tell you that number one, most of you say you wanna be successful but you don’t want it bad, you just kind of want it.

You don’t want it bad than you wanna party. You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don’t want success as much as you want sleep. Some of you lost sleep more than you lost success. And I’m here to tell you today, if your going to be successful you gotta be willing to give up sleep. You gotta be willing to work with 3 hours of sleep – 2 hours of sleep, if you really wanna be successful. Some day your gonna have to stay up 3 days in a row. Because if you go to sleep you might miss the opportunity to be successful. That’s how bad you gotta want to be successful.

You gotta want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat. 50 Cent was doing his movie, I did a little research on 50 and 50 said: that when he wasn’t do the movie he was doing the soundtrack. And they said: “When do you sleep?” 50, and 50 said: “Sleep, sleep is for those people who are broke. I don’t sleep.” See I got an opportunity to make my dream become a reality. Don’t cry to quits. You already in pain, you already hurt. Get a reward from it. Don’t go to sleep until you succeed.
If you are going to be successful, you gotta give up sleep. You gotta want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat. Sleep is for those people who are broke. Don't try to quit, don't go to sleep until you succeed. I want success as much as I need air to breath. I am willing to give up sleep. If I go to sleep, I will miss the opportunity to be successful.
Only The Strong Survive.
